My Favorite Things

Today I want to share a song from on of my favorite movie. (I really never understand why they can't keep makiing such Movies ).
I initially thought that I shall create my own version and post it...
Would do it some time soon... Till then here is the original one... ..

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,
bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,
brown paper packages tied up with strings,
these are a few of my favorite things.

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels,
door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings.
these are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes,
snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes,
silver white winters that melt into springs,
these are a few of my favorite things.

When the dog bites, when the bee stings,
when I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
and then I don't feel so bad.

Mind - The confused super being

I (that is again my mind) always have had a phenomenal respect for that abstract thing called mind. The immense power that it has, to be on a sinusoidal spree all the while and sometimes creating a 'noise' with oppposite emotions at the same time, keeps me wondering. I have started making a note of all the known but freshly found emotions which I'm going through and would like to list them here...
  • Ecstasy
  • Jubiliance
  • Happiness
  • Sorrow
  • Fear
  • Boldness
  • Anger
  • Helplessness
  • Enthusiasm
  • Lethargy
  • Pride
  • Hollowness
  • Secured
  • Insecured

Surprisingly all the emotions mentioned above are in different context and I wonder how a poor being called mind has to face all these at the same time. Is it that what we call stress? I wonder!!!

With all those emotional vectors I tried to find the resultant and the resultant is that of happiness with a proud feeling of compromise thanks to the efforts taken by my inner conscience and helping the mind mellow down all the negative vectors.

This newly discovered hobby of being with my mind is fun and has brought me back to my social world of family, friends and people all around. Thanks to you my dear 'Mind'.
